MRFF 2025 Research Data Infrastructure Grant Opportunity
Overview
Grants of up to $2.5 million to support Australian medical research projects that use novel methods to harness multiple existing data infrastructure types to develop new approaches for addressing unmet medical needs. The program funds the creation or extension of national research data infrastructure that leverages at least two different types of existing research data sources (such as administrative data, biobanks, registries, and wearables with artificial intelligence).
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible organisations seeking to develop better data health intelligence to improve health care delivery. Research proposals must incorporate new linkage and/or use of data from multiple (at least two) existing research data infrastructure sources of different types, and must clearly outline how the project will address an area of unmet medical need.
