Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund
Overview
The NSW Government has committed $200 million to support the construction of new or enhancement of existing multi-sport facilities across NSW. The fund aims to increase the number and type of multi-sport facilities, improve existing facilities, and ensure equitable access to sport infrastructure for all communities including women, girls, people with disability, First Nations peoples, and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include local government authorities, regional joint organisations, NSW State Sporting Organisations, incorporated not-for-profit sporting clubs and associations, PCYCs, YMCA/YWCA, professional sporting organisations, Department of Education specialist sports high schools, and private enterprises. Applicants must provide a minimum 50% financial co-contribution of the grant amount requested, unless granted financial hardship exemption. Projects must be located on land within NSW and demonstrate inclusive and accessible design.
