Natural Disaster Transport Subsidy NSW
Overview
This program provides subsidies to NSW primary producers affected by declared natural disasters for the transport of fodder and/or water to a property, stock to/from agistment, stock to sale or slaughter, or bee or oyster movements. The subsidy covers 50% of road transport costs (GST exclusive) or water-based vessel movements for oysters, up to a maximum distance of 1500 km for road transport.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be NSW primary producers (individual, trust, company or enterprise) with a right or interest in a farm or Class A aquaculture permit for oysters, contributing labour and capital, deriving at least 50% income from primary production, with assets directly damaged by a declared natural disaster, an active ABN at time of disaster declaration, and located within an impacted local government area.
