NSSN Grand Challenge Fund 2026
Overview
The NSW Smart Sensing Network Grand Challenge Fund promotes innovative, collaborative research projects that bring together NSW/ACT university expertise with industry or government challenges in five NSSN priority themes. Grants of up to $100,000 per project support the development of smart sensing solutions with a defined pathway to genuine impact through commercialisation or operationalisation.
Eligibility Requirements
Applications must be led by an NSSN member university with minimum two NSSN member universities collaborating, at least one industry or government partner, and cash co-investment from partners equal to or exceeding the requested amount. Projects must focus on smart sensing solutions addressing defined industry or government needs.
