Overview

This grant supports increased Rugby participation through new or enhanced programs, competitions, and tournaments, with a focus on under-represented groups including women and girls, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, people with disability, First Nations peoples, and LGBTQIA+ people. Funding can support accredited coaching, officiating, leadership development, and introductory programs to grow Rugby participation across NSW.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be incorporated, not-for-profit rugby union clubs, associations, or zones in NSW that are affiliated with and have met compliance requirements by NSWRU and/or ACT&SNSWRU. Ineligible applicants include individuals, private rugby academies, schools, universities, local government councils, and organisations not joined to the National Redress Scheme.
