Overview

This program provides Tasmanian businesses with funding to help them carry out energy audits on their operations and buildings. Expert energy auditors will visit business premises to analyze electricity use, identify energy savings opportunities, and calculate financial payback for potential savings.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be a business primarily operating in Tasmania with an active ABN since on or before 1 March 2024, employ between 1-19 full-time equivalent employees, and have paid for and received an independent energy efficiency audit.

Battery Breakthrough Initiative

A $500 million funding program announced in the 2024-2025 Federal Budget to promote the development of battery manufacturing capabilities in Australia.
