Overview

This program provides a one-off grant or equity investment for the production of children's and adults' animation, feature films, television drama, documentary or factual projects, as well as narrative projects for online platforms and games/interactive projects. Support ranges from a minimum of $30,000, provided as a non-recoupable grant if up to $50,000, or as equity-based production investment if $50,000 or more.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicant must be an Australian incorporated company with central management and control in Australia, and must be the producer/rights holder. Must meet at least one of: be a Tasmanian resident production company, be in financial partnership with one, or have at least one credited key creative (producer, writer, director) who is a Tasmanian resident or ex-patriate. Majority of project budget must be spent on eligible Tasmanian goods/services, with minimum spend-to-investment ratios of 4:1 for live action scripted projects and 3:1 for factual/interactive/animation projects.
