Regional Event Fund 2026/27
Overview
The Regional Event Fund provides financial support to leisure tourism events across South Australia's regions that strengthen regional pride, deliver meaningful visitor experiences, and contribute to long-term tourism growth. The fund offers two categories: Established Event Funding ($20,000–$50,000 per year) for events with a strong track record, and Development Event Funding ($5,000–$20,000 per year) for new and emerging events.
Eligibility Requirements
Events must be leisure tourism events held between 1 September 2026 and 31 August 2027 that drive tourism visitation. Applicants must have a valid ABN or ACN and provide Public Liability Insurance ($20 million minimum). Events can only apply to one funding category per round.
