Overview
The RJED program creates new jobs in remote Australian communities by providing funding to employers for wages and equipment. The program aims to create 6,000 new jobs until 2030 with good pay and conditions, including superannuation and leave, supporting income support recipients to move into paid employment.
Eligibility Requirements
Employers in RAES regions can apply for funding to create new jobs that support community priorities. Jobs can be part-time, full-time or casual, and must hire local people from remote communities.
