Overview
A $2,000 payment from the ACT Government for people who have experienced domestic or family violence. The payment can be used to maintain or set up a home, including mortgage or rent payments, household items, activities for children, and legal services.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be 16 or older, have weekly income below the limit ($2,344.80 for single person, $3,126.40 plus $312.64 per extra child), be referred by an ACT domestic violence service, not have previously received this payment, and not be a Housing ACT tenant or on the Priority Housing Waitlist.
