Overview
The Music Development Office provides funding to support South Australian artists and music businesses to attend and showcase at major international and national music conferences. This includes the Export Contribution Fund for international events, and the National Contribution Fund for domestic showcases and regional delegate attendance at the Regional and Remote Music Summit.
Eligibility Requirements
Artists must receive official invitations to showcase at selected international events (Folk Alliance International, SXSW, The Great Escape Festival, Americanafest, The Reeperbahn Festival, International Indigenous Music Summit) or national events (SXSW Sydney, Bigsound). Regional artists must be officially recommended by MDO partners (Music Australia, Music SA, or Country Arts SA) to attend the Regional and Remote Music Summit.
