The Space Concession helps companies develop high technology for the space sector by providing duty-free tariffs on eligible imported goods. It encourages technology transfer and expertise sharing for authorized space projects involving international collaboration in research, manufacturing, or equipment supply.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must have an authorized space project involving joint investment, research, manufacturing, or supply of equipment/technologies with international parties in eligible fields (exploration, remote sensing, material processing, space medicine, communications, satellite navigation, space apparatus, environment protection, or launch services). An Australian Industry Participation plan is required, and imported goods must be necessary and integral to the project.
