Overview

This grant opportunity seeks to investigate short and long-term adverse health outcomes experienced by individuals living in unstable housing conditions. Research will inform the development of comprehensive interventions to improve health outcomes and reduce health disparities among people experiencing homelessness in Australia. Initiatives should foster collaboration among health service providers, academic institutions, researchers and communities with a holistic approach to health.

Eligibility Requirements

Research initiatives must evaluate service models for people facing housing instability and homelessness, improve policy and service delivery, identify barriers to integration between housing and health systems, and build research capacity. Strong collaboration among health service providers, academic institutions, researchers and communities is required.

Closing the Gap Outcomes and Evidence Fund – Logan Service Delivery Agreement

A program inviting First Nations people, organisations and communities to co-design, trial and evaluate projects aimed at contributing to Closing the Gap Targets 12 (out-of-home care) and 13 (family violence).
