Threatened and Migratory Species Fisheries Bycatch Mitigation Program
Overview
This program funds Australian commercial wild-catch fisheries to implement practical solutions that mitigate the bycatch of threatened and/or migratory species listed under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. Grants support projects that improve conservation outcomes for protected species that interact with commercial fishing operations.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be Australian businesses and organisations that can help improve conservation outcomes for threatened and/or migratory species listed under the EPBC Act that interact with commercial wild-catch fisheries. Grants cover up to 100% of eligible project expenditure.
