Overview
Screen Tasmania funds on-the-job paid training opportunities for screen industry practitioners across three categories: Attachments (entry-level, 8+ weeks), Placements (emerging practitioners, 12+ weeks), and Traineeships (intensive coaching in critical shortage roles, 12+ weeks). Screen Tasmania covers participant wages and trainer costs to support skill development in film, television, online, and games production.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be screen industry practitioners or have transferrable skills from other industries. Attachments are entry-level or minimal experience; Placements require at least one industry credit; Traineeships are for critical shortage roles approved by Screen Tasmania. Productions must be supported by Screen Tasmania's Production Support Program and genuinely willing to train participants.
