Overview
Assists community, cultural and environmental groups and organisations to access City of Sydney venues at reduced rates or at no charge. Support is available for both community venues and landmark venues (including Sydney Town Hall, Paddington Town Hall and Customs House). Available as one-off or multi-year (up to 3 years) reduced venue hire rates. Supports events, concerts, fundraisers, conferences, meetings and community gatherings. Not-for-profit organisations are also eligible for a 25% reduction on equipment hire fees at landmark venues.
Eligibility Requirements
Must operate within the City of Sydney LGA or demonstrate significant benefit for residents, workers and/or visitors. Must demonstrate financial hardship if paying standard venue hire rates. Open to not-for-profit organisations, incorporated associations and unincorporated community groups (with auspice). Open all year until budget exhausted. Applications should be submitted at least 8 weeks before the event.
