Overview

The Workforce Incentive Program provides general practices with funding to build a sustainable and high quality health workforce, particularly in rural and remote areas. It supports practices to engage eligible health professionals in promoting preventative health, chronic disease management, and care coordination. Payments include quarterly incentive payments, rural loading of up to 50%, and annual loading for practices serving Veterans' Affairs Gold Card holders.

Eligibility Requirements

General practices must be fully accredited or registered for accreditation against Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Standards, employ a full or part time GP, and maintain at least $10 million in public liability insurance cover for the main location and each additional practice location.

Closing the Gap Outcomes and Evidence Fund – Logan Service Delivery Agreement
