Australian exporters can access one of the world's most generous export support programs through the Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) — which reimburses up to 50% of eligible overseas marketing and promotion costs. State programs and Austrade TradeStart services provide additional support for businesses starting their export journey.

The Hydrogen Headstart program provides long-term revenue support to underwrite large-scale renewable hydrogen production projects in Australia. Funding is provided in the form of Headstart Production Credits (HPC), offering support per unit of production over a 10-year period of operations. The Australian Government International Exhibitions Insurance (AGIEI) program is a funding program designed to offset insurance costs for touring major exhibitions of cultural material. Generally, these exhibitions include works from international collections. The program aims to assist cultural institutions to provide access to significant cultural material the Australian public would not otherwise have an opportunity to access. By providing assistance with insurance costs, the Australian Government is able to encourage and support the staging of major exhibitions drawn from some of the world’s most historically significant and culturally rich collections. Eligibility Notes
EMDG eligibility requires: an active ABN, total income under $50 million, at least $15,000 in eligible export promotion expenditure during the grant year, and promotion of Australian-owned goods, services, or tourism. The program is non-competitive — if you meet the criteria and have sufficient expenditure, you receive the reimbursement.
