Overview
The dAIS grant program provides direct financial support to athletes to enable them to focus on training and competitions aligned to the HP2032+ Sport Strategy outcomes. The primary purpose is to support athletes' basic living costs, allowing them to concentrate on training and competition for Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games sports.
Eligibility Requirements
Athletes must be nominated by their NSO/D (not self-apply), be Australian citizens eligible to represent Australia at the next Olympic, Paralympic or Commonwealth Games, be categorised according to their sport's Athlete Categorisation Framework, follow an endorsed individual performance plan, have a signed athlete agreement with their NSO/D, and pass anti-doping and integrity checks. Para athletes must hold or be planning to seek international classification.
