Overview

A grant program supporting categorised Para athletes to overcome individual barriers to their progression or performance in Para sports. Funding can be used for eligible expenses including travel, training fees, coaching, classification costs, carer support, childcare, performance support services, and professional development occurring between May 4, 2026 and June 30, 2027.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be categorised athletes (Podium, Podium Ready, Podium Potential, Developing, or Emerging) supported by an ASC-recognised National Sporting Organisation in a Paralympic or Commonwealth Games Para-sport discipline, actively participating in training and competition, with no history of anti-doping rule violations or match fixing offences. Pilots, guides, and ramp assistants supporting categorised Para athletes are also eligible if directly supporting performance.
