Overview

This program assists eligible commercial horticultural businesses in obtaining written expert advice from certified irrigation consultants to develop water use efficiency plans. Vouchers can be used to engage specialists for property audits, irrigation system design, and advice on technologies and strategies to improve water use efficiency.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must own, share farm, or lease property used for horticultural production in the eligible Gnangara area and be identified for 10% groundwater abstraction reduction from 2028. Must conduct majority of primary production business in Western Australia, operate as sole trader/partnership/trust/private company, hold an ABN, be registered for GST, and be a commercial primary production business.
