Overview

Funding for events being held in regional Tasmania outside of the peak tourism season. The program aims to increase winter events in regional Tasmania to boost visitor numbers and local community engagement during non-peak periods, while also increasing event expertise in regional areas.

Eligibility Requirements

Events must be held outside Greater Hobart, outside peak tourism season, deliver substantial benefits to regional Tasmania, attract at least 5,000 intrastate visitors or 800 interstate visitors or mass local community attendance, have secured significant independent funding, and be working with Events Tasmania to develop their event.
