Overview

This program provides funding to Western Australian sheep producers and supply chain businesses to adjust to the removal of live sheep exports by sea. It supports capital investments for on-farm finishing activities and processing supply chain enhancements through two funding streams.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be operating in WA's sheep supply chain, be a private sector business with an ABN and GST registration, have been in operation for a minimum of 2 years, be financially viable, and intend to locate their project in regional and/or metropolitan WA.

The program aims to accelerate development of Australia's renewable hydrogen industry, support domestic decarbonisation, and help Australia connect to new global hydrogen supply chains.
