Test Sites Program 2026
Overview
The Test Sites Program supports Victorian artists to develop and test temporary public art ideas in the public realm. Successful applicants receive funding between $10,000 and $20,000, along with curatorial support, mentorship, and project management assistance to create site-specific public art installations within the City of Melbourne.
Eligibility Requirements
Artists must be Victorian residents working in sculpture, visual arts, photography, film, sound, performance, installation, socially engaged practice or hybrid forms. Applicants should have a compelling new public art idea, though limited experience in the public realm is acceptable. Applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, artists with disability, and LGBTIQA+ artists are encouraged.
