Game on for Change – Preventing Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence through Sport
Overview
This program empowers all levels of the sporting sector to play a leading role in the prevention of domestic, family and sexual violence. It builds capacity and capability of the sector to address gendered drivers of violence and foster safe, respectful and inclusive environments. The program supports evidence-based prevention initiatives and strengthens partnerships between sport and primary prevention sectors.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include incorporated community-based or not-for-profit organisations, NSW-based professional sporting organisations, local government authorities, universities in NSW, and Aboriginal corporations. Ineligible applicants include individuals, P&C associations, for-profit organisations (except professional sports), government departments, schools, and organisations not compliant with the National Redress Scheme. Applicants must provide Public Liability Insurance with minimum $5 million cover.
