Overview
The NSW Family Energy Rebate helps people with dependent children pay their electricity bills. Retail (on-market) customers can receive a lump-sum rebate of up to $180 per household per financial year, credited to their energy bill.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must live in NSW, have an electricity account for their home in their name, have received Family Tax Benefit in the 2024-25 financial year, have lodged their tax return with the ATO, and have finalised their Family Tax Benefit entitlement with Centrelink.
