Overview

Co-contribution grants for eligible entities to develop and implement regional drought resilience plans that improve drought preparedness and resilience in Queensland regions. The scheme supports both the development of draft plans and implementation of eligible activities identified in approved plans.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be eligible entities (e.g. local government, natural resource management organisations) that are party to an approved regional drought resilience plan. The plan must be submitted to DPI and the applicant must receive written eligibility notice from DPI before applying. Activity grants (max $300,000) fund implementation of eligible activities, while remuneration grants (max $150,000) fund wages, salaries or fees for plan development or activity implementation.
