Overview
This fund assists Queensland-based practitioners and interstate producers working with Queensland-based key creatives to develop fresh, exciting and marketable ideas into screen-ready projects. Funding is offered in three tiers (up to $15,000, $15,001-$30,000, and $25,000-$50,000 for slate funding) depending on applicant residency status, stage of development, and marketplace interest. All funding is provided as grants to support Queensland spend on scripted and unscripted projects.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be Queensland residents (6+ months) or interstate Australian residents working with minimum 50% Queensland-based writers/directors. Applicants must own story rights and provide required creative materials (treatment, draft scripts, or pitch documents). First Nations stories require a Cultural Engagement and Safety Plan and Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property compliance.
